Hannes Lindeque resides in
Pretoria, South Africa. He is
the CEO of the South Africa
Bass Angling Sport Society (SA
BASS) and publisher of a
monthly magazine, called SA
Bass. The magazine is the
official mouthpiece of the
Society and is printed in high
quality; full colour on gloss
paper with issues published
since April 2001 and caters for
a niche market, focusing only
on bass angling in Southern
Africa.

Hannes was born in April 1967
in the small town off Fochville,
a gold mine community and
was raised in the northern
Transvaal. He holds degrees
from the University of
Potchefstroom and the
University of South Africa
(UNISA).

Hannes was in the printing
industry since January 1991
and with his experience in the
printing trade, made it possible
to launch his own monthly
magazine in 2001. Hannes
who as the head organizer, is
the official patron and
organizer of the monthly bass
angling Cast-for-Cast®
Tournament Trail, provides all
shore administration as well as
publicity.

SA BASS was commissioned to
present a weekly angling
programme for television on
kyk-Net (Digital Satellite TV)
in 2002 with the editor,
Eugene Kruger as presenter
and Hannes Lindeque as
co-presenter.

In April 2005 Hannes led a SA
BASS team, consisted of three
highly competitive anglers to
participate at the IFBBA, 10th
Anniversary and International
Friendship Buddy Draw Bass
Tournament in the USA on the
Lake of Ozarks.

Hannes, who is a passionate
bass angler himself, likes
sharing information with
fellow bass anglers to promote
the sport.
